My friend and vegan chef Anne Landry offered to help me make the Roasted Vegetable Lasagna from The How Not to Die Cookbook. I just received the book a few days prior and really hadn’t had much time to mess with it. Furthermore, I am so new to doing anything in the kitchen, this all was a bit overwhelming at first.
So I was very relieved to watch Anne work and be like “Oh, yeah, cool, I’ve done something like this before” and so on. I in the end it really wasn’t hard at all making a lasagna and even making the various Simple Preparations needed like the Nutty Parm and Savory Spice Blend. It’s so need to be able to just whip up some Almond Milk too! Also, the Date Syrup recipe is awesome for all kinds of recipes.
