My very good friend Francisco Montes is a local restaurateur. We’ve made a couple cooking videos together, more as an experiment. Check out this easy to make spicy-licious goodness, Salsa Diablo!

Salsa Diablo Ingredients

  • 4 Tomatoes (preferably Roma Tomatoes)
  • 2 Habanero Peppers
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • Couple teaspoons Salt (Less is better for you though!)

Cook the tomatoes on a dry (no oil), hot skillet (medium high heat). Sear them all over by gently turning ever so slightly often. About ten to twelve minutes. Reduce heat to medium for Habaneros.

Cook the Habaneros the same way as the tomatoes, but just a few minutes.

Next, blend all the ingredients together in a mortar and pestle or blender. Don’t puree it, leave it a little chunky. Wahlah!
